Our market is open 10am - 1am on Sundays, July through Oct.
We started the market in 2020, during the pandemic in order to quickly establish more local food options for our community, to provide more trade options for our farmers and artisanal crafters and to build relationships of trust and trade in a time of extreme social change.
The Gray Village Farmers' Market encourages local food producers and consumers in Gray and surrounding communities to be producers, build relationships, and trade for a vibrant micro-regional food system.
Our market is located in a low income neighborhood in Gray Village. We are walking distance from a senior housing community and enjoy the patronage of resident's there greatly.
We are grateful for our regulars that come each week, visitors from away, and for all that bring their friends an family to market days.
Our vendors are all producers and makers from Gray and surrounding communities in the region including New Gloucester, Durham, Cumberland.
Our community includes our market musicians who celebrate community with us every week.
We are a new and growing market.
First time producers and makers are encouraged to join! Sponsorships are available from our Grow Farmers Fund for both teen farmers and farmers of color. Contact us for details.
Please see our market rules for more info about tabling. If you can comply with the rules please submit your application.
